- Utilizing built-in monitoring tools to track network activity
- Troubleshooting:
- Identifying and resolving common firewall issues
- Basic familiarity with networking concepts: This includes an understanding of routing, switching, and IP addressing.
- Basic familiarity with security concepts: This includes an understanding of firewalls, intrusion detection and prevention systems (IDS/IPS), and other basic security technologies.
- Experience with other security technologies (IPS, proxy, and content filtering): While not required, having experience with other security technologies can clarify the concepts covered in EDU-210.
